Boom Boom Mushroom
Part 51 ~ 20 August 2025

It's a clear, starry night at Floral Paradise. There's plenty of work to do around here, and I'm working towards a master plan... you'll see :)
My first order of business is to dial back the purple a little. Shocker! In my enthusiasm to turn the world violet, I overlooked the fact that cornflowers are, in fact, blue. When I go to build more flower farms, it'll be useful to have them neatly colour-coded, so I don't have to guess which purple farm makes which variety of tulip. So I punched out the purple wool around the cornflower farm and swapped it for a rich blue. There – that's the Cornflower Copier, clear as day!
Colour consistency achieved, I'm free to go and build my next flower factory. The target this time is dandelions – there's a good patch of these to the northeast, near the cliff down to the spider cave. There really isn't much else to say about this farm... It's the same thing as before, but yellow. Now we've got Dandelion on Demand. Don't you worry, there's plenty more of these petal puns in the pipeline!
After that, I sort-of-maybe started building a house. I didn't get far before my creative juice ran out and I went off to do something else. Fear not, though: I have used the power of The Backlog™ to see into the future, and I can tell you that this house is getting built in Part 53 – just two entries from now :D
The next step towards my plan: making mushrooms. For these, I went to the other end of the valley to a flat clearing and built a TNT-duper tree farm! It's another ianxofour design. I was nervous after the disappointment of the cobble farm, but it was a quick build so I pressed on. I placed the last bit of redstone to complete the circuit, stepped back with bated breath, and...
Ahh, what a relief – it hasn't blown itself up! :D Let's go in and grow some mushrooms. (Big ol' red ones!) "But Ela, you have tree-chopping powers, don't you?" Well, sort of. Yes, I can just level a forest and grow it back from saplings. But that doesn't work on fungi. Also, it's had inconsistent results on the warped and crimson varieties. And none of these fungi will grow back by themselves – they require my intervention with a pile of bonemeal. So yes, strange though it may seem, this is still an essential farm for the empire!
The things I'm farming here may seem oddly specific. Suspiciously specific, even. Well, you'd be right in your suspicion! Allow me to introduce you to my new superfood, the Suspicious Stew of Saturation!
This delicious dandelion dish contains magical hunger-busting powers that no other food comes close to – and thanks to my stacking superpower, it's actually usabl-
OH COME ON. I went through all this effort for better food and it just bugs out? :( Maybe there's another mod that can take away the empty bowls or something?
AAAARGH!
...Excuse me for a moment while I go cry in my unfinished house.
